Annabelle Kim

Dallas-based Annabelle Kim is carving new pathways for the 21st-century musician as she juggles dual careers in finance and performance. Annabelle currently works at Teamshares, a fintech startup modeled to combat wealth inequality across the United States. As a versatile musician, Annabelle is the first prize winner of the UTA Maverick Flute Competition and second prize winner of the Atlanta Flute Club Young Artist Competition. She has performed with the Conducting Institute Lab Orchestra, Meadows Symphony Orchestra, and Stonebriar Community Church Orchestra. Dedicated to music education, Annabelle teaches at Waxahachie High School and has a private studio.

Annabelle holds bachelor’s degrees in Music Performance and Finance from Southern Methodist University. Annabelle’s primary teachers and mentors include James Romeo, Jake Fridkis, Kara Kirkendoll, Will Roberts, and Pawel Wnuk.


Erin Mathewson

Chicago-based oboist Erin Mathewson enjoys a varied career of performing, reed making, teaching, and land appraising. She has performed extensively with the Amarillo Symphony Orchestra, Sherman Symphony Orchestra, Dubuque Symphony Orchestra, and Southwest Michigan Symphony Orchestra among others. As an active chamber musician, Mathewson currently performs with the Dallas-based woodwind quintet Ordell Winds, with whom she attended the 2023 Imani Winds Chamber Music Festival in New York City. As the recipient of the Judy K. Bird Award, Mathewson has also attended the Hidden Valley Music Seminars with Elaine Douvas. Before relocating to Chicago, Erin was based in Dallas, Texas where she taught and made reeds for fifty private students.

Erin holds degrees in oboe performance from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign and the University of Missouri Kansas City. Her primary teachers include Celeste Johnson, John Dee, Lisa Larsen, and Casi Halliar. In her free time, Erin loves to spend time drinking tea and maintaining her indoor garden.


Joshua Partridge

Clarinetist Joshua Partridge has performed throughout the United States and Europe. Often a featured soloist, Joshua had the pleasure of playing multiple concerti at major events such as the American Guild of Organists summer concert series and Ely Cathedral’s summer concert series in England. He was also a performer at the University of Oslo’s International Cultural Evening, where he was selected to represent the United States.

As one of the founding members of the 4CRNRS clarinet quartet, Joshua pushed new music for the quartet medium and actively sought to premiere works throughout the metroplex. The quartet recently won the George Papich Chamber Music Competition and had an active outreach and public performance schedule throughout the past year.

He has also collaborated with Grammy winners and nominees such as Hila Plitman, Kurt Eiling, Wycliffe Gordon, Wynton Marseilles, and Joe Gradsen. His main teachers have been Kimberly Cole-Luevano, Lisa Oberlander, and Gregory Raden.

Robbie Harter

Robbie Harter, a professional bassoonist in the DFW area, currently serves as the second bassonist with the Allen Philharmonic. He’s played with notable ensembles like the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and the Symphony Orchestra of Northwest Arkansas. Additionally, he’s a member of the Ordell Winds Woodwind Quintet, maintains a thriving teaching studio, and runs the reed business Harter Reed Company. Robbie’s musical education includes studying under Ted Soluri, Tom Fleming, and Gabriel Beavers.

Outside of music, Robbie has a passion for fountain pens and handwriting.

Catherine Janson

Born and raised in Ridgewood, New Jersey, Catherine Janson began her lifelong career as a French hornist when she was 11 years old. Catherine had been drawn to the instrument’s diverse tone colors since she first heard it featured in John Williams’ movies. Her fascination led her to perform in honors ensembles throughout her childhood, and her talents took her around the globe to perform in the United States, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, and Switzerland.

Catherine received her Bachelors in Music Performance from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. There, she studied with Zach Smith and Mark Houghton. In Pittsburgh, she performed with the River City Brass Band and served as principal horn Three Rivers Young People’s Orchestra, where she performed under the baton of Manfred Honeck. She went on to receive her masters at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, where she honed her skills with Greg Hustis and David Heyde. She still resides in Dallas and continues to perform with Ordell Winds. As a founding member of the quintet, Catherine attended the Imani Winds Summer Music Festival in 2023.

Catherine spends her days maintaining her private studio and her evenings jogging and listening to true crime podcasts.
